Valor Path Connect

Terms of Use

ValorPathConnect Effective September 26, 2026

1. About this service

ValorPathConnect is operated by Valor Path Corporation, a Delaware nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 99-1673548), with its mailing address at 1040 N Market St, Washington, NC 27889.

ValorPathConnect is a free search tool that helps Veterans, Service Members, their families, and those who support them locate organizations offering services such as housing assistance, mental health care, employment support, benefits guidance, and education resources.

By using ValorPathConnect, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. This is not an emergency service

ValorPathConnect is not an emergency service and is not monitored by staff. No one at Valor Path Corporation sees your search as you type it, and no one will be dispatched in response to it.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

If you are a Veteran or Service Member in crisis, or concerned about one, contact the Veterans Crisis Line: dial 988 then press 1, text 838255, or visit veteranscrisisline.net. These services are free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, every day, whether or not you are enrolled in VA health care.

3. We connect you to organizations — we do not provide the services

ValorPathConnect is a directory and search tool. Valor Path Corporation does not provide housing, medical care, mental health treatment, legal representation, financial services, employment placement, or VA benefits assistance through this application.

Every organization listed in your results is independent of Valor Path Corporation. We do not operate, control, staff, fund, or supervise them.

4. No endorsement, and no guarantee of results

Search results are assembled from publicly available web sources using automated tools, together with a curated list of national organizations. This means:

  • A listing is not an endorsement. Appearing in results does not mean Valor Path Corporation has vetted, certified, recommended, or vouched for an organization, its staff, its quality of care, or its fitness for your situation.
  • Information may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Phone numbers change, programs close, eligibility rules shift, and automated search can misinterpret a request.
  • Eligibility is determined by the organization, not by us. Many programs limit service by discharge characterization, service era, geography, income, or other criteria. Appearing in your results does not mean you qualify.

Always confirm details — services offered, eligibility, hours, location, and cost — directly with the organization before relying on them.

5. Not professional advice

Nothing in ValorPathConnect is medical, mental health, legal, financial, or VA benefits advice. The application does not create a provider-patient, attorney-client, or fiduciary relationship between you and Valor Path Corporation. Decisions about your health, benefits, housing, or legal matters should be made with qualified professionals.

6. Acceptable use

You may use ValorPathConnect for your own personal, noncommercial purpose of finding services, or to help someone else find them. You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, mine, or bulk-extract content or organization data;
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, security features, or access controls;
  • Attempt to access administrative areas, non-public endpoints, accounts, or data you are not authorized to reach;
  • Introduce malware, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on the infrastructure or disrupts availability for others;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defraud, or harm anyone;
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with Valor Path Corporation, or use the service to imply an endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

We may limit or block access that appears to violate these terms or to threaten the availability of the service.

7. Feedback you submit

The feedback form is optional. If you use it:

  • Do not submit sensitive personal information. Please do not include Social Security numbers, medical records, diagnoses, financial account details, or similar sensitive information about yourself or anyone else.
  • Do not submit someone else's personal information without their permission.
  • You grant us permission to use your feedback to evaluate, operate, and improve ValorPathConnect and to report in aggregate to funders and partners. We may quote feedback in anonymized or aggregated form. We will not publish your email address.
  • The feedback form is not a way to reach a person quickly. It is reviewed periodically, not continuously, and it is never the right channel for an urgent need. Use the crisis resources in Section 2 instead.

8. Donations

Donations are processed by Donorbox, a third-party platform, and by its payment processors. When you open the donation form, you are transacting with Donorbox — payment information does not pass through ValorPathConnect. Your use of that form is subject to Donorbox's own terms and privacy policy.

Donations support Valor Path Corporation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; no goods or services are provided in exchange unless specifically stated. Donorbox issues your receipt. Questions about a donation may be sent to team@valorpath.org.

9. Third-party links and destinations

Results, resource listings, and other parts of the application link to websites, telephone numbers, and services operated by others, including the Veterans Crisis Line and valorpath.org. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, availability, practices, or policies. Following a link means leaving ValorPathConnect.

10. Intellectual property

The ValorPathConnect application, its design, text, and organization, along with the Valor Path name, logo, and the Veteran Success Partner (VSP) marks, are the property of Valor Path Corporation and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. © 2026 Valor Path Corporation. All rights reserved.

You may use and share information you find through the service for personal, educational, or noncommercial purposes. You may not use Valor Path Corporation's name, logo, or marks to suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement without prior written permission.

Organization names, logos, and descriptions surfaced in results belong to those organizations.

11. Availability and changes

ValorPathConnect is provided free of charge and may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice. Features that depend on outside providers may be unavailable or degraded for reasons outside our control. When live search is unavailable, the application shows a curated list of national organizations instead.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ValorPathConnect is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Valor Path Corporation does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that information presented is accurate, current, or complete.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valor Path Corporation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of ValorPathConnect — including any act, omission, service, or conduct of any organization identified through the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valor Path Corporation and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms of Use or of applicable law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

16. Governing law

Valor Path Corporation is incorporated in the State of Delaware. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
